She and her husband Frank Radford "Budge" Crawley co-founded the production company Crawley Films in 1939. Crawley is best known for writing the Academy Award-winning documentary ''The Man Who Skied Down Everest''. == Personal life == Judith "Judy" Crawley was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Roderick Percy Sparks and Rheba (Fraser) Sparks. She studied at the Ottawa Ladies' College, and later graduated from McGill University in 1936 after three years, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Economics. Crawley married "Budge" Crawley on October 1, 1938, and the two of them had six children: Michal, Patrick, Roderick, Alexander, Jennifer, and Mariah.〔 Crawley separated from her husband in 1965.
